A commentary was printed in todays Ashland Daily Press about our Peace Vigil.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 17, 2007, marks the 26th week, or six months of this local grass roots event here in Ashland Wisconsin.

This is a movement that you have started that I would like to start in my own town. I wish you would send me an email and give me some of the finer points of how you started this movement. I think I get it, and in a Democracy, I do not want to limit the other causes people are passionate about, but I do not want to dilute the message. I want to be the type of group that does not alienate anyone, only educates. Send me some educational advice, but I think if I meditate, I can pretty do it if you get busy with your other responsibilities. This needs to spread. The anger on both sides needs to erode. We need to think of our future, our children, a less violent society, and a more informed democracy.
